Could the reason for covid-19 numbers rising in Pueblo County be that PCR tests are incapable of diagnosing disease? The inventor of the test, Kary Mullis repeatedly stressed that PCR tests should not be used for a diagnostic tool or estimating case numbers, a positive test is not a “case”. The test was geared to detect genetic sequences present in everyone, therefore it presents false positives. It can also pick up the presence of other viruses, so a positive test may simply mean you have recuperated from a common cold.

Tests drive numbers and the running totals do not report people who recover. There are many experts such as Dr. David Crowe and Dr. Andrew Kaufman questioning coronavirus and Dr. Fauci has said that the PCR test is misleading when it is run at 35 cycles or higher, he went on to say “if you get a cycle threshold of 35 or more the chances of being replication confident are miniscule”.
