Employee safety and motivation seems to be first and foremost on the mind of Rye Fire Protection Districtís board and Fire Chief. During the course of the meeting held on Monday, November 16, every board member in attendance commented at one time or another how grateful they are for the fine, hardworking staff they have. Empathy was offered for all that they go through in every call, with COVID-19 making an already stressful job possibly a life-threatening one as well.
