Some comments about "The Donald:" against all odds, he won the GOP nomination and went on to beat Hillary; he beat back a full-on assault by the heads of our combined intel agencies; he lived through the annoyance of a two-year, multimillion dollar, special prosecutor; then, as if all this was not enough, there was the capstone of the Democrat led impeachment effort. Of course, all of these activities were embellished on the public by the hard-sell strategies of a biased mainstream media. While all this was going on he took the reins to correct the foibles of the previous administration and Washington in general. He took on all problems, foreign and domestic, solved many and failed with a few, but he never shirked his duties by pigeonholing a problem because it was too hard. We've just completed a general election and all indications are that we have a "President-elect Biden." President Trump has yet to concede, initiating legal actions in various States to challenge fraudulent or irregular voting practices. Some have questioned why the delay – maybe, if you had experienced what this President has for the past four years, you might have some reservations in your own right. There are also rumblings that the lack of a concession is impeding a peaceful transition – as previously outlined, this comes from the elements that did their utmost to disrupt this administration from the outset. In that regard, these same elements (anticipating their win) are now on the "let's forgive and forget" and "can't we all just get along" tracks, a.k.a. "just shut up and let us do our thing." I heard someone say the other day, "when it comes to politics, the Democrats play NFL football and Republicans play badminton." Republicans should smarten up and any of the opposition's phony unity appeals should be met with the old proverb, "what goes around comes around."
