I see a lot of things that bother me. Words are powerful. Over the years I have been called to task for the way I have worded things, sometimes rightly. The majority of the time, in my opinion, not so much. In a newspaper on Saturday and Sunday I saw the following headlines. Now, you realize that often a headline is all that is read. Maybe the reader is in a hurry. Maybe the headline indicates to the reader they wonít be interested in the story. Maybe the headline grabs the readerís attention and causes them to read the story. Words are powerful.
