Broccoli Rice Salad

1 (4.3 oz.) package herb and butter flavor rice and sauce mix
1 (9 oz.) package frozen cut broccoli
1 large green bell pepper, chopped
1 (15 oz.) garbanzo beans or chick peas, drained
2 Tbs. chopped fresh chives
tsp. grated lemon peel
2 Tbs. oil
2 Tbs. lemon juice

Prepare rice and sauce mix as directed on package. Cool 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook broccoli as directed on package. Cool 15 minutes.

In large bowl, combine cooked ice, cooked broccoli and all remaining ingredients; mix well. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until serving time.
