Nineteen members of Rye High School fall sports teams won post season honors in the five sports in which they competed.

The volleyball team had a pair of all-conference winners who were also recognized at the state level. Rachel Shaffer and Hannah Ambler took home the honors. Madison Gookin was named Honorable-Mention.

Shaffer was placed on the second-team all-state in 2A after ending the year with 280 kills, good for 16th in all of 2A.

Joining her in all-state recognition was teammate Ambler who ended the season with 212 kills and played a large role in getting the Lady T-s to state for the first time since 2015.

Kye Nielsen led the Thunderbolts when he was selected all-conference in a pair of sports. Nielsen was named all-conference in both soccer and football.
