“Coaching boys’ basketball at Rye High School is one of those jobs you wish for but at the same time think will probably never happen,” commented Kyle Spencer, 2006 RHS graduate and former basketball player. “Even while I was playing, I thought about how wonderful it would be to coach here. Several years ago, when Jim Hale retired, I was already committed to a job and thought the chance was gone.
