Swink invaded the Thunderdome last Tuesday and left with a 3-0 victory in girls’ volleyball. The initial match set the tone for things to come in the match when Swink won in overtime 30-28. They followed that up with a pair of 25-21 set wins to take the match.

Courtney Proctor and Tess Zupancic each had nine kills. Ella Peters had two aces from the service line and handled the ball 85 times. Ashlynn Romine had 29 digs.

“This group did a nice job of showing they can fight through a match but needs to learn how to finish for a win,” assessed Head Coach Jamie Donlon. “The home town crowd energy was great and we always appreciate all of our fans! The Swink match was a little revenge I believe since we beat them at State last year (just an opinion).”
