The Rye Thunderbolt football team ended probably the weirdest season in the history of Rye football with a 44-0 loss to the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions on Parent’s night at the Thunderdome. Of the four games the T-bolts managed to play amid COVID interruptions only two of those games were against scheduled opponents as fill in games became an art form in the 2020 season.
The visiting Stallions collected six touchdowns, three on the ground and three in the air. They had 372 all-purpose yards compared to the Thunderbolts 133 yards.
