Roy E. Upthegrove

11/23/1933 – 09/19/2023 Husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away with his family by his side. Roy is survived by his wife, Diane; children, Keith (Maureen) and Tracey (Todd); two grandchildren, Amanda and Zachary; and two great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Maddox.

Roy was born in Gary, Indiana and moved to Rye when he was 7. He graduated from Rye High School in 1951 and went on to attend and graduated from Colorado A&M in 1955. Roy worked and retired from Tri-County Health Department after 44 years. Roy was a 33 degree Mason and Shriner, who received his 50-year pin. Roy enjoyed the Colorado Rockies, leather crafting, and meeting and conversing with new and old friends alike.
