It is time for National FFA Week, celebrated this year from February 17 to February 24. During this week, FFA members, families, and communities come together to share what FFA represents and the positive impact it has on their lives. It’s a time to celebrate agricultural education, leadership development, and all that the FFA stands for.

Students are not in attendance at Rye High School on Monday, February 19, as the teachers attend a training session, but on Tuesday the RHS halls will be flooded with blue and gold to honor the FFA.

FFA members will be shining in their FFA best as they attend classes attired in their blue and gold uniforms. That is a dress shirt completed by the FFA tie or scarf and jeans and, of course, the beloved FFA jackets.

RHS students but FFA Nonmembers are invited and encouraged to wear blue or gold on Tuesday to participate in the support of the school's FFA program.

Wednesday, February 21, will be a fun day as the RHS students dress to the theme of “Country vs Country Club.” Students are invited to turn up wearing their best country club attire or their country jeans and boots.

Thursday, February 22, is America Day at RHS and students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue clothing to show their support.

Craver Middle School is having its inaugural FFA Week Celebration as its FFA program is now official and recognized by the state. Great work by Ms. Ashley Tremain and the Craver Ag students for making this happen.

Craver students will celebrate America Day wearing patriotic colors on Monday. Tuesday is “Dress Like a Farm Animal” day, and Craver FFA students will be offering community assistance loading food at the Care and Share Food Distribution.

Wednesday is Class Color Competition Day with 6th Grade students wearing white, 7th Grade students wearing yellow, and 8th Grade students wearing blue.

Thursday is set to be a fun day as students explore Ag Career Day and the Craver FFA hosts Kiss a Pig.

We tip our hats to the excellent FFA programs offered at RHS and Craver, their dedicated leaders, and amazing students and hope they have a fun-filled week.
