Letter to The Editor: I am afraid, and don’t understand why others aren’t. We have a president who is obviously incapable of coherent thought.

To the Editor, As a teacher in the Greenhorn Valley, I am disgusted by the anti-capitalist resolution passed by our state teachers’ union, the Colorado Education Association (CEA), at their annual Delegate Assembly in April. This resolution has made national news, made the CEA a national laughingstock, and has only served to further degrade the image of public education.

With regard to: Kansas legislators got it right Finally you have addressed an issue which has such importance in saving the lives of literally 100’s of thousands of school children in this country. Who knows when the next massacre of cis-gender children will occur as a result of transgender children daring to use the bathroom of their choice. We surely have seen enormous threats to our children as transgender children begin to assert their rights as individuals. Let’s not waste more time on such trivial threats as gun violence or attempts to overthrow an election. The sooner we keep our bathrooms safe, the sooner we can move on to even more insidious threats to our children.

I'm very alarmed on hearing the Marxist in the Colorado Education Association have passed a resolution against Capitalism. I am a student of Marxism and Communism since I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1978.

“Let’s finish the job.” That’s the theme of Joe Biden’s 2nd term candidacy announcement. It galls me that Mr Biden (controlled by deep state puppeteers) disguises his blatant anti-Americanism in an attempt to seduce We The People into a false faith that he would lead us into a utopian future of harmony, prosperity and Godly purpose.

I appreciated your timely column last week about the recent tragedy at the school in Nashville. We are all asking “when will this stop” and “what can we do”? I want to respond to one idea you mentioned in your column, namely: “Some schools have taken to arming their teachers to respond in an active shooter situation.” I suspect that many people would consider “arming teachers” on the surface to be a bad idea.
