Christopher (Chris) Mark Lesser

Body
Christopher (Chris) Mark Lesser, 61, Colorado City, died on July 17th, 2023. He was a lifelong Colorado native, born in Denver, a devoted husband of over thirty years, father of five, and a man of God. He loved animals, cars, classic rock and working with his hands. Chris was highly intelligent earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from CU Denver and could repair or build nearly anything and solve complex problems with his near photographic memory for machinery and mechanical systems. These talents were passed along to his five children (and now two grandchildren). Chris could have a gruff exterior to anyone who didn't know him, but those who had the pleasure of knowing him knew he had an enormous soft side. Whether it was falling asleep in his chair with 'the dog he didn't want' or helping his children in the best way he knew how by fixing anything from cars to washing machines. With his generous spirit and big heart, Chris always lent a helping hand to those around him with whatever might be needed. He was passionate in his beliefs and never afraid to share his opinion on a multitude of topics.
